To get control of our circumstances, we must first acknowledge personal responsibility for being where we are. That was the hardest part for me because the “victim” in all of us doesn’t want to take that responsibility. It’s so much easier to blame someone else.

When we take the responsibility, we must then take control of our thoughts. Yeah I know, easier said than done and in the beginning, it will be hard. Many say that over 70% of your thoughts are negative, especially when you just let your thoughts run wild and you don’t take any control of it. That because you have developed a habit to think negative. But guess what folks, like any habit, it can be changed by replacing it with the habit of thinking the right way.

Know that you have to take responsibility for your life and its ultimate path. You have to stay positive and make active decisions.

I remember a quote by Emmet Fox who said “You are not happy because you are well. You are well because you are happy. You are not depressed because trouble has come to you, but trouble has come because you are depressed.

You can change your thoughts and feelings, and then the outer things will change to correspond, that’s just the way it works.

Les Brown once said, “It has been said that most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but most people fail in life because they aim too low and hit and many never aim at all.

Yo have to take responsibility for your life if you wish to attain any level of success. The average among us tend to complain and blame everyone and anything as the reason they are not where they want to be, but the successful, who may have had a tougher road, chose to FIGHT BACK, chose to NEVER GIVE UP and to take full responsibility for all the circumstances that come at them whether Good and bad.

I’m not saying you allow people to run all over or dominate our every moment, but I am saying that you have to push past “circumstances” and create your own reality, your own success REGARDLESS of “what happens.”

Because at the end of the day with persistent and consistent effort and some faith, you will win!
